Dell’s latest laptops are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, and two are already available for preorder.

Dell Qualcomm Snapdragon laptops available for pre-order

Dell just announced five new laptops, all powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon, Dell’s newest processor that makes for super-fast multitasking and a longer battery life (almost a full day on a single charge). If you’ve been looking to upgrade your current laptop to a model that’ll come with enough battery to last for several workdays without needing to recharge, the new Dell Inspiron 14 Plus or the Dell XPS 13 could be your perfect match — and you can pre-order both today for expected delivery in early July.

Why we like it

Equipped with Snapdragon X Plus, the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus comes with 16GB of memory and 512GB of internal storage. The display is an impressive 14 inches, including a tall display designed for less scrolling with a 16:10 aspect ratio touch panel. The 400-nit brightness is meant to provide brighter visuals with smooth graphics. And in terms of top-of-the-line, the Inspiron 14 Plus is ready to accommodate WiFi 7.

When it comes to battery life, expect to get up to 21 hours of operation on a single charge. The overall size is also ideal for portability, with a profile that measures just .67 inches thick. Despite the slim design, it doesn’t sacrifice on ports, with one USB Type-A, an audio jack, two USB Type-C, and one MicroSD card port.

Why we like it

The Dell XPS laptop has long been considered a pro model, but the new Dell XPS 13 model brings in a Snapdragon X Elite processor. The 13.4-inch screen is slightly smaller in comparison to the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus, but it’s also a lighter model, weighing just 2.6 pounds. The XPS 13 also beats the Inspiron 14 Plus when it comes to battery life, getting up to 27 hours before needing a recharge. Both of these specs could make it a better option for anyone who travels for work.

Preorders for the Dell XPS powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus will land the laptop on your front door in early July.
